Everything I treat has a mental and emotional aspect to it. Even the most straight-forward back pain, for instance, will be treated in an all-encompassing way. I've worked with countless conditions and all types of people, even those who are highly skeptical of acupuncture. Those are the ones who end up the biggest fans of this work. My favorite things to work with are hormone imbalances, sleep issues, stress and anxiety, and pain management. I also like working with allergies and digestive disorders. I have many years experience working with fertility for both men and women.
Acupuncture is based on the ancient principles of energy according to yin and yang, which equates to balance. Optimum health is experienced when our Qi, or energy, is balanced within our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Qi circulates within us through pathways called meridians, and these meridians correspond to our internal organ systems.
Acupuncture addresses illness by first determining where the imbalance lies within the meridians and/or organ systems. This is determined through pulse and tongue readings in addition to a health intake by the practitioner. The goal is to then unblock stuck or stagnant energy by use of tiny hair-thin needles on the surface of the skin. The goal of acupuncture is to treat the cause of one’s symptoms rather than treating the symptom alone.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
A natural alternative to botox that eliminates the signs of aging by stimulating blood and energy flow to facial meridians. The increased blood flow fills in wrinkles; making lines on the face become finer and eventually disappear. Facial acupuncture effectively treats puffiness, dark circles, acne, and slight sagging in addition to treating wrinkles. Results will be seen after one treatment however, a series of treatments is recommended for a more dramatic and long lasting effect.
Cupping is another modality under the scope of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) that uses small cups, usually made from glass, and suction to pull out impurities and toxins from the lymph, muscles, and energy pathways we call meridians. Most often the cups are placed on the back. They may be left in one place or moved around an entire area to release pain, improve circulation and immunity, remove blockages in the digestive system and muscles, or open up the chest and lungs to treat asthma, bronchitis, or allergies.
Moxibustion is a warming technique, which utilizes the Chinese herb, Mugwort, on or around acupoints to stimulate blood flow, increase circulation, release pain, build immunity, or reinvigorate the Qi.
Krishna has gone through reiki attunement to what’s called the “reiki master” level. In the Usui Mikao tradition of reiki, this is the level by which one is able to attune others to the three degrees of reiki. Krishna has held several classes at each level for those students very interested in taking their own healing to a deeper level.
Everything in our bodies holds its own vibration. Illness holds a vibration very different than a vibration of wellness, calm, love, or radiant health. The goal of vibration therapy is to reset the frequency of the body from imbalance to balance according to one's needs to enhance healing. This modality is often used with other modalities but is also quite amazing on it’s own. I use tuning forks and crystal bowls.
